十九世紀(jì)，日本內(nèi)戰(zhàn)進(jìn)行中，只見舊幕府勢力節(jié)節(jié)敗退，新政府軍持續(xù)挺進(jìn)。位于決定性領(lǐng)地的「新發(fā)田」藩，雖表態(tài)擁護(hù)幕府老東家，關(guān)鍵渡口卻僅派十一位將士前往駐守防御新政府軍。而這些將士，其實是藩主另以除罪為誘，命死囚假扮而成。轉(zhuǎn)眼，新政府大軍兵臨城下！不只盜賊賭徒，還有強(qiáng)奸犯、殺人犯、縱火犯外加一名傻子，看這十一名烏合之軍如何一路逃命挨打，到最后卻拚死奮力一搏。
